With Symbio, connected buildings take productivity further, meet changing DOE regulations, and potentially earn local incentives. Utilizing the Symbio® Service & Installation mobile app, you can quickly access critical data and equipment configuration to simplify installation, operation, and service. Symbio is now shipping standard on Precedent® (6-25 tons), Voyager® 3 (27.5-50 tons), and Odyssey™ (6-25 tons).

Chris Gist Portfolio Leader, HVAC Equipment Controls Trane Chris Gist is the Unit Controls Portfolio Leader for Trane and leads the organization’s efforts on new controls product development and introduction of technological enhancements across Trane’s HVAC portfolio. In his more than 22 years in energy services and controls, Chris has held various leadership, technical and marketing roles.
John Klesk Senior Product Manager, Precedent Rooftop Units Trane John Klesk is the Senior Product Manager for Trane’s Precedent Rooftop HVAC Equipment. He joined Trane this year and has responsibility for the new product development portfolio strategy, lifecycle management, and financial performance for the 3-25 ton Precedent product line. John has over 15 years of experience as a product manager and 5 years as a mechanical design engineer.
Rachel Nilsson Product Manager, Controls Service Tools Trane Rachel Nilsson is a Product Manager for Trane Controls based out of St. Paul, MN. Rachel is primarily responsible for controls service tools and mobile apps. Rachel joined Trane in 2009 as a Usability Analyst, doing usability research and user interface design for controls and moved to product management in 2018. Rachel is intensely interested in the relationship between work and technology and finding ways to use technological advances to make our technicians and customers more efficient and effective.
