Best Practices in Food Safety for Dairy Processors

START DATE: ON DEMAND THROUGH JULY 31, 2020

Duration:60 minutes

Abstract:

Food safety-related recalls not only are costly, but also can wreak havoc on a brand’s reputation. It’s critical, therefore, that dairy processors have solid food safety plans and practices in place to prevent such recalls — and to meet the requirements of the Food Safety Modernization Act.

This webinar will discuss how dairy processors could build a “culture of food safety” within their organizations. It will also outline steps they could take to enhance in-plant pathogen control.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand management’s role in building a foundation of food safety so processes and growth do not set up an organization for failure.
  • Learn how to prioritize food safety over sales and marketing.
  • Find out ways to enhance pathogen control within the dairy processing plant.
