With a strong background in business, trade and customs, Kevin leads the Institute’s trade digitalisation agenda – liaising with governments, commercial businesses and NGOs around the world.
An advocate for international trade for more than 40 years, Kevin is highly respected within the international trade community. He has facilitated cross-border trade for thousands of UK businesses and been pivotal in designing and delivering new documentation and processes pre- and post-Brexit.
Formerly the Institute’s Director of Stakeholder Engagement, Kevin was involved in developing the Diploma in World Customs Planning and Compliance, a Foundation Degree in International Trade and the Northern Ireland Customs and Trade Academy (NICTA).
Kevin has led many trade initiatives in the UK and Internationally, including work with Invest NI, Scottish Enterprise, UK Export Finance and Saudi Export Development Authority.
He is a United Nations-approved trainer and author of a best-selling book: Trade for Good.
Cristian Chu Salgado

Cristian is an Electronic Engineer, Master in Logistics and Operations and MBA. He has over 10 years' experience in Food Manufacturing and Supply Chain Operations. At Luker Chocolate he led the Supply Chain for B2C and B2B operations until 2020. Now he is leading the company’s internationalization strategy as VP of New Business development for B2B markets.
As the new business lead, Cristian oversees the company’s entry into new markets and development of new client opportunities, helping his teams to be successful in sharing Luker’s unique product amongst manufacturers and brand owners. Also, Cristian leads new product development and packaging. Cristian has been instrumental in Luker’s global expansion process, both from the supply chain and market perspectives.

Tom has over 30 years of experience in the consumer goods industry. During his 22 years working for MARS Tom enjoyed roles in the UK, European and global teams, working in Marketing, Innovation and Global Transformation roles. Tom is passionate about the environment, and believes industry should play the leading role in helping humanity minimise the worst impacts of the Climate Crisis. Tom has been a vegan for 8 years and followed his passion for great tasting, sustainable nutrition to join Quorn in 2021. In March of this year Tom was part of the leadership team that founded Marlow Ingredients, a sister division to Quorn. Marlow Ingredients is an ingredients company that is making the mycoprotein that goes into every Quorn product, available to other companies within the food and beverage sector.
Andrew Dalziel

Infor
Andrew Dalziel is a vice-president of Industry Strategy at Infor. He and his team focus on resolving the business needs and industry-specific challenges of organisations using Infor’s industry cloud SaaS solutions to deliver business outcomes.
He joined Infor in 2013 and worked various leadership roles. Dalziel earned an MBA from Bradford School of Management, a master’s degree in Computer Aided Engineering Design from Strathclyde University, and a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology from Robert Gordons.
Bethan Grylls

Food Manufacture
Bethan Grylls is the Editor of Food Manufacture, which commands the largest audience of any online platform dedicated solely to readers working in the UK food and drink manufacturing industry. Prior to joining Food Manufacture (part of the William Reed group), she led New Food Magazine’s content team. She has been working as a professional writer for more than a decade and was responsible for organising one of the world’s largest virtual, scientific food and beverage conferences in 2021. Bethan is a regular speaker at food and drink events and chairs Food Manufacture’s esteemed Business Leaders Forum, she is also the host for the brand’s prestigious food and drink awards, and a well-respected thought-leader in her field. Bethan serves as a technical advisor on the Clean Label Project’s UK board and is a judge for Ecotrophelia 2023.
She is also responsible for National Butcher’s Week, a social event operated under the Meat Trades Journal brand.
