Agile Architecture for Digital Innovation

Start Date:10/17/2017

Start Time:8am PDT / 11am EDT / 5pm CET

Duration:60 minutes

In order to compete with web-scale cloud providers and to thrive in an era of digital disruption, CSPs must boost Agility, investing in development models that expedite speed-to-market and time-to-monetization for higher volumes of complex services.

In this interactive panel discussion, Danny Johnson of Verizon Enterprise Solutions will define agility and the drive toward a common platform to support virtualized functions, apps and digital services. He will discuss how Verizon, as a global consumer services provider, is parlaying its own consumption of services into services it can deliver to its enterprise customers. He will also discuss how the fusion of network and cloud is moving apps to the cloud and creating an agile environment for automation and ultimately self-healing, closed-loop environments.

Panelists will then discuss what needs to happen in order to automate the complex set of systems existing in today's CSP environments, and how to evolve toward virtualization, self-healing SDNs and closed-loop automation. Orchestration and how to manage and instantiate multiple VNFs, as well as the role of orchestration in delivering microservices will be a topic of discourse, as will be artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) in understanding the dynamic topology of software-defined networks and services.

Panelists will also talk about big data and analytics for just-in-time resource and SLA management; PaaS and server-less computing with containers; virtualization of RANs for increased flexibility in networks; support for multiple bands and access technologies; and other topics relevant to agility-focused ecosystems.

Register here and learn how to move away from Capex-heavy environments toward flexible pay-as-you-go utility models built for flexible and agile service and apps consumption - the benefits of which are competitive advantage, faster service deployment and agile infrastructure within next-gen operating environments.
