Jervis is a Partner of BDO Canada LLP and a Senior Vice-President of BDO Limited. He specializes in restructuring, turnarounds and refinancing of underperforming businesses. Jervis has over 30 years of insolvency and restructuring related experience, over 20 of which were while he was a Partner with Deloitte’s Financial Advisory Practice. Jervis was also the Chief Financial Officer of British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC), where he was largely focused on business optimization and enterprise transformation. His industry expertise covers high tech, manufacturing, consumer retail, tourism hospitality & leisure, agriculture, gaming and real estate. Jervis has served all of the big and medium-sized banks and has worked closely with many national and regional firms. He has consulted to many federal and provincial ministries and all major BC crowns. He is a qualified expert witness on forensic and insolvency matters in BC and Ontario courts.

Justin has over 12 years of experience with BDO and is the leader of the Natural Resources Group in Calgary and is the National Oil and Gas Leader. Justin is the engagement partner for numerous Energy and Natural Resource clients. His experience includes exploration and development companies as well as oilfield services companies. Justin has also worked with engineering firms, manufacturers and consulting companies that operate exclusively in the petroleum industry. He also has significant assurance experience with multinational companies in the petroleum industry. Justin works almost exclusively with companies in the Energy and Natural Resource industry and in addition to standard audit and taxation services, provides assistance with IFRS & ASPE transitions, complex debt and equity financing transactions, and business combinations. Justin also participates as an expert on many Oil and Gas industry panels and is an associate member for EPAC, CAPP and PSAC.

Adam is a Managing Director of Transaction Advisory Services based out of BDO’s Edmonton office, and the leader of BDO’s Western Canadian M&A practice. He has been an M&A Advisor for most of the last 18 years, working both on buy-side and sell-side transactions. Adam has deep experience with oil and gas services companies, as well as in the construction, transportation and manufacturing sectors.

Marc is a Partner / Senior Vice President at BDO Canada. Prior to joining BDO, Marc was a founding partner of Hardie & Kelly (“H&K”). He was also a Senior Vice President in the restructuring and insolvency group of one of the “Big Four” accounting firms in Calgary. Marc qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1992 and has practiced exclusively in the insolvency field for over 27 years providing advice and assistance to businesses and individuals experiencing financial challenges. He earned the designation of Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional and received his license as a Licensed Insolvency Trustee from the Government of Canada in 1997. Marc has provided insolvency related services throughout Canada and the United States involving many public and private companies on behalf of banks, financial institutions, shareholders, boards of directors and governments. He has undertaken numerous viability assessments and provided turnaround assistance to companies in a variety of industries including: vehicle leasing, manufacturing, high tech, oil and gas, oil field services, gas marketing, trucking, life insurance, service and retail industries. He also has extensive experience in receivership, bankruptcies, proposals under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and plans of arrangement under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act.
