Nick began his career as an exercise physiologist in elite sport before working at GSK and then subsequently establishing his own company in 2010. Nick’s primary focus in on how our understanding of science, the consumer and the market integrates to underpin business strategy and innovation.

Robert has worked within the sports & Active nutrition industry in various senior management roles (GNC, NBTY, MyProtein, Gymgrossisten & SCI-MX), in the US, UK and Europe for almost 25 years, with a focus on product development, marketing, sales and business growth. In his current role as CCO of Aminolabs he works with many of the major European Sports, Active and Lifestyle Nutrition brands to develop and manufacture products which help drive forward the positive profile and agenda of Active Nutrition and healthy snack-ing Worldwide. He also represents the industry as a speaker at many events (Bridge2Food, Food Matters Live etc.) and acts on the Advisory Board of the Active, Performance and Sports Nutrition Summit.

Frank is based in Rousselot’s headquarter in Son, the Netherlands and in his role he is in close contact with R&D, application lab and quality department as well as commercial and technical support teams in all Rousselot’s 6 sales regions.

Jeroen A. Wouters

Since 2012 Jeroen has been located at the national Sports Centre Papendal, the Olympic training facilities in Arnhem, The Nether-lands. Jeroen coordinates, stimulates and facilitates research and innovation in the field of sports and nutrition. As a part of the activities he is director of Eat2Move, the hub for innovation in sports and nutrition. He is a food technologist by training and obtained his PhD in food microbiology at Wageningen University, Jeroen is also Director International at the food innovation cluster FoodvalleyNL. In this role Jeroen provides guidance and support to stimulate innovation and cooperation in food and nutrition. Jeroen has (co-)authored over 40 scientific publications.

James Hudson

Performance Nutritionist and Recovery Sports Scientist

Gloucester Rugby (UK)

James is performance nutritionist and recovery sports scientist at Premiership Gloucester Rugby Club. He completed a degree and masters in Biochemistry before specialising in sports nutrition completing the IOC Diploma, and is currently researching his PhD in molecular exercise physiology at Liverpool John Moores University. Throughout his studies James played rugby professionally, performing for 15 years and making over 250 appearances in the English domestic and European competitions as well as rep-resenting England. His research focus is on the changes in metabolism after collision sports and understanding how to optimise recovery from them.

Suzane is the Director of Nutrition Communication for GELITA. Headquartered in Eberbach, Germany, GELITA are global leaders in bioactive collagen peptides for skin health, joint health and, most recently, sports nutrition. Suzane is a Nutritionist with nearly 20 years of experience in sports nutrition, both as a practitioner in her early career, and as a professional in the sports foods and sup-plements industry. Suzane graduated with a master’s degree in Sports Nutrition from Loughborough University, UK, and with a MSc in Food Regulatory Affairs from the University of Ulster, NI.
