Join us for UNA-USA’s all-virtual 2021 Global Engagement Summit February 19-20.
We may not be able to convene in person at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City, but this year, we’re bringing the UN to you.
Throughout our two days of programming, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with fellow UN advocates on the issues most important to you, hear from UN officials in the field about the lifesaving work of UN agencies around the world, learn how to become an even more effective advocate for the United Nations, and so much more.
Our theme—From Moments to Movements: Solidarity for Sustainability—will bring together changemakers, young professionals, UN representatives, lawmakers, students, and influencers who want to seize the moment and stand in solidarity to support the United Nations.
For the first time, we’re opening up the virtual doors to the Summit and welcoming more Americans than ever before to learn with us, become inspired, and join our movement of more than 20,000 members to increase our impact for a stronger and bolder U.S.-UN partnership.

The United Nations Association of the USA (UNA-USA) is a grassroots movement of Americans who support the vital work of the United Nations in U.S. communities, colleges, and Congress. For more than 75 years, UNA-USA and its national network of 20,000 members and 200 chapters have promoted strong U.S. leadership at the UN through advocacy campaigns, youth engagement, outreach programs, and public events.

Outside of the exciting plenary sessions, the Summit will feature three tracks: Inspire, Educate, and Mobilize, which are key tenets from UNA-USA’s mission. Please note that you are not limited to participate in only sessions within one track, but can hop around as desired since all sessions will be available on demand and can be viewed at a later time.
Inspire
Travel the world to see firsthand the impact of UN agencies providing lifesaving assistance, support, and care to communities through a series of five virtual field visits.
Educate
Take away knowledge and best practices to actualize the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals in your community and how we collectively can meet targets in our country and beyond.
Mobilize
How do you turn passion into policy? What are the best ways to take action and advocate? Sharpen your skills and leverage your experience to become a domestic diplomat and serve as a champion for the United Nations and global cooperation.
