As Chief Communications Officer at McDonald’s, Michael Gonda is responsible for driving integrated communications strategies that focus on protecting and advancing the reputation of the company globally.
Gonda leads a team across corporate communications, media relations, crisis communications, reputation campaigns and performance and intelligence. Ensuring a consistent brand voice is core to his role, working to advance McDonald’s business strategy, communicate the company’s purpose and drive greater trust amongst stakeholders.
Throughout his tenure, Gonda has built and strengthened leadership platforms for the McDonald’s executive team. Through signature campaigns, he’s helped advance executive- sponsored programming in the areas that matter most to McDonald’s stakeholders, bringing to life the company’s values and commitment to communities.
Prior to joining McDonald’s, Gonda served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Chobani, a leading natural food company, where he served as a member of its executive leadership team responsible for strategic communications initiatives, public affairs, government relations, sustainability and the company’s philanthropic efforts.
He previously served as Vice President of Weber Shandwick, a leading global public relations firm, where he supported some of the world’s largest brands with issues management and corporate communications.
Michael began his career as a reporter. He earned a bachelor’s degree with honors from Brown University and lives in Chicago, IL, with his wife, son and daughter.

Paige joins NetBase Quid with 20 years experience in technology and marketing, working to sell enterprise application solutions and manage trusted customer relationships. Prior to his current role, Leidig was CMO for CipherCloud where he was responsible for all aspects of marketing and helped lead the company from the early stage to a leader in the cloud security market. Leidig has also worked in senior management positions at SAP, Ariba, Elance, and E Trade.
