Stu Maddux
Director, Producer
Stu Maddux is an award-winning producer and director of non-fiction media with
international credits including Pluto TV, Here TV, PBS, Showtime, TLC, VH1, Spike,
Logo, CMT, and BBC. His work has also been featured in The New York Times, The Atlantic, VICE, and NPR’s Morning Edition and exhibited at film festivals around the world.
His honors include seven regional Emmy Awards. as well as awards from film festivals
on five continents.
Maddux is an outspoken activist for the LGBTQ aging and LGBTQ history movements.
He has spoken at national conferences including the Out & Equal, Creating Change, the
American Psychological Association, and the American Society on Aging. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism.
Sheila Holm

Sheila (she/her/hers) has 30+ years of experience in nonprofit management with the bulk of her career with Girl Scouts in the Midwest. Her passion for volunteer driven and community minded organizations brought her to AARP. For the last 10 years, she has concentrated on establishing an AARP presence in the St. Louis region by focusing on building a volunteer team, forming community partnerships and creating opportunities for members and non-members alike. A passion for the out-of-doors drives her non-AARP hours through gardening, hiking and adventure travel.
