Industry & Solution Strategy Director, Food & Beverage
Mike is responsible for driving Infor’s vision and strategic direction in the Food and Beverage market. In collaboration with Infor’s product managers he helps define the investments needed to meet these ever-changing process manufacturing industries. Mike also works directly with Infor’s customers to help them identify how best to leverage digital technologies to overcome industry challenges and leverage new market dynamics.
Mike started his career in product development with diversified food processing company, Borden and later moved to Quaker Oats where he held roles in R&D, Business Development and Marketing. Additionally, he served as Director of Marketing for a division of Bunge Foods.
Mike earned an MBA in Marketing and Operations Management from the Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Houghton College.

Richard Sides has more than 20 years technology-related operational experience assisting manufacturing and distribution organizations by improving their business processes and supporting information systems.
Richard's experience includes operational responsibilities, management consulting, ERP system implementation, and serving in a variety of senior executive management roles. Richard's background includes significant experience in food/beverage, process and discrete manufacturing as well as logistics, distribution and supply chain management. Richard started his career with Kraft Foods and was part of the pioneering efforts to introduce integrated supervisory and process control systems to Kraft's production lines. He finished his career with Kraft by serving as the systems lead on the pilot implementation of Kraft's Marcam Prism ERP rollout.
