Episode 7: Extending NSX Data Center Networking & Security to Microsoft Azure with NSX Cloud
Start Date:7/26/2018
Start Time:11:00 AM PDT
Duration:60 minutes
Abstract:
Now Available On Demand
Today, the public cloud is no longer a single thing, but rather a portfolio of services that different teams use for different needs. In fact, the 2018 State of the Cloud report by RightScale found that organizations use five clouds on average. Still, most organizations continue to work out the best way to use, manage, and secure private data centers and public clouds to meet their application needs. Adding complexity to this challenge is the way applications are constructed and where they can reside to ensure proper functionality.
In this next installment of our series on Getting More Out of NSX, we’ll introduce how NSX Data Center capabilities can now extend to public cloud workloads using NSX Cloud, such as those in Microsoft Azure. We’ll introduce the solution and demonstrate how to address your application management and security needs, as well as examine the business justification for deploying VMware NSX technology to workloads on Microsoft Azure. We’ll demo the solution, provide an overview of functionality, discuss use cases, and compare this solution to other VMware cloud offerings. Join us for this webcast and learn:
